The IUP Women’s Leadership Awards were announced on March 21, 2018, in a reception in the Blue Room. Since 1986, these awards recognize women for their outstanding leadership, service, academic excellence, and community contributions on and off the IUP

Exemplifies someone who has demonstrated outstanding leadership beyond the classroom and with an international lens

Provides recognition to an individual who has contributed to the advancement of women at Indiana University of Pennsylvania through elevating the status of women; improving campus policies affecting women; establishing professional development opportunities
for women; and participating in the establishment of academic mentoring for women
They will have the opportunity to work with other female leaders, harness their leadership potential, view the world through new perspectives, and promote the work of IUP women as they participation in the conference.
These awards are co-sponsored by the President’s Commission on the Status of Women; Women’s and Gender Studies;
PASSHE Women’s Consortium; Office of Multicultural Affairs and Student Success; Office of International Education; Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs; and Office of Housing, Residential Living, and Dining.
