Office of New Student Orientation Announces Returning Staff Members

The Office of New Student Orientation recently completed their Student Success Leader selection process for the upcoming orientation season.

The 2018 staff is a combination of new and returning staff members. Those returning include:

  • Terra Cravener, a junior child development and family relations major from Shelocta, Pa.
  • Kelsey Delozier, a senior majoring in history/pre-law and English/pre-law from Douglassville, Pa.
  • Carlito Herring-Forchion, a sophomore communications media major from Philadelphia, Pa.
  • Kendall Jones, a sophomore natural sciences/pre-physical therapy major from Philadelphia, Pa.
  • Amelia (Emmy) Stevens, a junior majoring in theater and anthropology from Ebensburg, Pa.
  • Lilly Woltman a junior child development and family relations major from Hummelstown, Pa. will be returning as a testing/program assistant.

The Student Success Leader position is responsible for several essential functions of the orientation experience. These student leaders assist with proctoring placement testing, facilitating conversations about the transition experience to college, and building a diverse community on campus. They also assist students in the course registration process among other duties.
