Please join the Sustainability Studies Program and the Indiana County Center for Community Growth at a film screening of This Changes Everything on Friday, February 26, at 6:00 p.m. in the Humanities and Social Sciences auditorium, room 225. The event will begin with a keynote talk about climate change activism and policy at the local level by Peter Buckland, activist, author, and staff of Penn State’s Sustainability Institute.

This Changes Everything is a film inspired by Naomi Klein’s bestselling, nonfiction book and its attempt to reimagine the vast challenge of climate change through the potential for radical social, environmental, and economic justice. The film presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines, from Montana’s Powder River Basin to the Alberta Tar Sands, from the coast of South India to Beijing and beyond.

Buckland will give a keynote talk before the film about climate change activism and policy making, sharing experiences in activism, agriculture, academics, and art.
