Jim Struzzi, president of the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce, presented his views on leadership recently to the Leadership Indiana County Program. An experienced public relations professional, Struzzi became chamber president three years ago and has worked with nearly all county and community leaders. His presentation stressed building relationships and the need for trust and integrity in leadership.
The Leadership Indiana County (LIC) program is a countywide, multimonth training program for 25–45-year-old business and community leaders. It is offered to the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce and administered by MARTI at IUP.
Director of the program is Erick Lauber (Journalism and Public Relations), under the supervision of Alex Heckert (Sociology, which houses the Ph.D. in Administration and Leadership Studies) and Victor Garcia (Anthropology, director of MARTI).
