Flick: The Fledgling Filmmakers’ Festival is designed to showcase the work of new filmmakers. No matter how old you are, no matter where you come from or where you made your film (high school, community college, university, your own backyard), we want to see your short film!

Flick is an interdisciplinary effort by the community of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). With support from IUP Provost Timothy Moerland, the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology, the College of Education and Educational Technology, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the College of Health and Human Services, the College of Fine Arts, the IUP Student Film Association, the Communications Media Department, the IUP Center for Film Studies, and many others, Flick is truly an interdisciplinary and community-based effort to support the work and talent of new filmmakers.

The 2016 Flick will be held the Hadley Union Building (HUB) on April 23.

  • Opening Ceremony: 8:00 a.m.
  • Film Submission Deadline: January 22, 2016
