Katie Monsour of Professional Studies in Education and Donna Kowalczyk of the University of Pittsburgh–Johnstown have had their article, “Professional Development Plans: Tools for Teacher Educators,” accepted in Pennsylvania Teacher Educator.

Their article focuses on challenges faced by student teachers, including planning and preparation, designing the classroom environment, delivering instruction, and developing professionalism. They describe the power of professional development plans to help teacher educators, cooperating teachers, and student teachers collaborate on planning with success for goals and milestones during student teaching.

The authors will present their work at PAC-TE in October.
