Lloyd Onyett, assistant dean for Technology in the College of Education and Educational Technology, will present “DisplayNote—Class Collaboration System for BYOD” at the Campus Technology conference in Long Beach, California, on April 8, 2014.

This presentation will demonstrate the DisplayNote software that allows faculty and students to use a mixture of iPads, Android tablets, PCs, and Macs in a collaborative mode. DisplayNote allows faculty to display apps from their tablet to the classroom computer and projector as they move around the classroom, gives faculty the ability to view and display students’ screens to the projector, lets faculty control and annotate a PowerPoint, and allows students to capture and annotate the faculty presentation on their device. The system can be used to pose questions and receive responses from students.
