Paul Arpaia was elected to a two-year team as a vice
president of the Council of Fellows of the American Academy in Rome.
Council of Fellows governs the Society of Fellows, promotes the American
Academy in Rome, and serves in an advisory capacity to the academy’s director
and board of trustees.
Arpaia was the Rome Prize winner in Modern Italian
History for 2007–2008.
