An IUP student has been chosen for the K. Leroy Irvis Pennsylvania Black Conference on Higher Education (PBCOHE) undergraduate scholarship from the eastern region.

Travis Gorham, a Psychology major and Sociology minor from Steelton, was selected for the $1,000 scholarship, which is offered to a student on the basis of outstanding academics, a minimum 3.0 GPA, extracurricular activities, and leadership qualities. Gorham, son of Kimberly Gorham and Harvey Gorham, is a dean’s list student and member of the IUP Voices of Joy choir.

The Office of Social Equity is pleased to be a sponsor of the PBCOHE and congratulates Travis on this recognition.
