Everyone is invited to register for the second annual James G. Mill Fitness Center 10,000 Step Challenge! Registration runs from January 21–February 4, 2013.

The program begins on February 4 and runs through April 1. Registration packets can be picked up at the James G. Mill Fitness Center in Zink Hall, or visit our website.

Each participant receives a pedometer to record the number of steps at the end of each day. We’re providing new and improved pedometers! The program also includes nutrition assessments, blood pressure screenings, and a log sheet to count your daily steps.

The person with the most steps at the end of eight weeks will receive a free one-year membership to the James G. Mill Fitness Center, a gift basket, and other prizes. Cost: $15. Nonmembers must also purchase an eight-week gym membership for $20. For more information, please contact Kelly Gibson at or Andrea Miller at
