The James G. Mill Fitness Center will be running a winter fitness program from January 14 through March 25, 2013. Each participant will wear a pedometer and record the number of steps at the end of each day. The person with the most steps at the end of the 10 weeks will receive a free one-year membership to the James G. Mill Fitness Center.
The program will include a pedometer, nutrition assessments, blood pressure screenings, and a log sheet to count your daily steps.
There will be a $15 registration fee plus a $30 10-week gym membership for non-members. Registration will start on Monday, January 7, and end Friday, January 11, 2013.
The program is open to the whole community, along with IUP faculty, staff, and students.
