The Writing Center’s Wednesday Workshop series continues with “APA Documentation” at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on October 3, 2012, in 218 Eicher Hall.
APA is commonly used in the social sciences and education. This workshop will show you how to cite sources with parenthetical references in your paper, and how to create a list of references at the end.
All Wednesday Workshop programs are free and open to IUP students and last about an hour. Attendance vouchers will be provided at the conclusion of each workshop.
Following the October 3 program, the presentations in the series are as follows:
MLA is commonly used in the humanities and is often required in College Writing courses. This workshop shows you how to cite sources within the body of a paper and how to create a Works Cited page at the end.
Once you have gathered the sources, you still have to fit them in with your own ideas and get everything to flow together. This workshop helps you do that.
PowerPoint can be easy to use, but it gets boring quickly. Prezi is a dynamic, easy-to-use alternative. This workshop shows you how to impress an audience with an eye-catching presentation.
