The African American Cultural Center's annual Fall pre-commencement reception and awards program will be held on December 16, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the Kolvachick Convention and Athletic Complex and will recognize and honor nearly a hundred graduating diverse students.

This year's theme is "Ambitions and Dreams." Several outstanding student awards will be presented along with special recognition of several faculty members, whose nomination is based on nominations from the students.

Ms. Malaika Turner of the Office of Housing and Residence Life will present the keynote message and Ms. Ainyae Stratton will dedicate a special performance to the students. The reception immediately follows the event, which is free and open to the public.

An RSVP by December 9 is strongly encouraged and will be most appreciated. For further information, please contact the AACC at 724-357-2455.
