Eicher Hall Second Floor
Writing Tips Tree will be live starting on October 14 and will be
located on the second floor of Eicher Hall in front of the Jones White
Our Writing Tips Tree offers the campus community a chance
to share your best “writing tip” with the IUP community and larger National Day
on Writing Community. Faculty, staff,
and students are all welcome to come, submit a tip, take a selfie with the
tree, and tag themselves on social media with #WhyIwrite and #IUPWriting. Submissions
will be entered into raffles for prizes at our celebration on October 21.
Financial Aid Office
Did you miss us yesterday in the North Dining Hall? Get answers to
your questions about your bill or financial aid without having to walk to Clark
Hall. Between 11am and 1pm, student workers from
the Financial Aid and Bursar’s offices will staff a table in Humanities Lobby.

Haven Project Events
Join Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. as they host Pretty OWT: Mixer with a Message. October is both Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so the Haven Project and the Susan G. Komen of Greater Pittsburgh will have tables with information to shine a light onto both issues. This event is free and there will be a pizza bar available. Spread the word and anyone is welcome to attend!
