KCAC Box Office
Thanksgiving Break bus tickets will be available to IUP students
on Monday, October 14, at the KCAC Box Office. Sponsored by the Student
Cooperative Association and STATIC, break buses will again travel to
Harrisburg, Allentown, King of Prussia, and Philadelphia. The cost is
$90 to $95, depending on the student’s final destination.
will depart from the HUB Parking Lot, near the entrance to the HUB Fitness Center, on
Friday, November 22, at 3:00 p.m. Buses will return to IUP on Sunday, December 1, at the times indicated on the individual bus information
Tickets go on sale on Monday, October 14, at 10:00 a.m. and are
available in person at the KCAC Box Office until Wednesday, November 20,
or until all tickets are sold. Students should purchase their tickets
early, since break bus tickets usually sell out!

The Lively Arts
In the exhibit "Pushing Petals" the work of Jillian Dickson and Elaine Quave examines human cycles of birth and death and the connection between the human body and wild nature. These artists fuse nature and the human body together to function and be understood as a singular unit and to help us recognize that we are dependent on the ecosystems around us for our sustenance and survival.

Writing Tips Tree will be live starting on October 14 and will be
located on the second floor of Eicher Hall in front of the Jones White
Our Writing Tips Tree offers the campus community a chance
to share your best “writing tip” with the IUP community and larger National Day
on Writing Community. Faculty, staff,
and students are all welcome to come, submit a tip, take a selfie with the
tree, and tag themselves on social media with #WhyIwrite and #IUPWriting. Submissions
will be entered into raffles for prizes at our celebration on October 21.
