Students enrolled full-time in the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics are eligible for the following scholarships. Applications are not necessary for consideration for most scholarships. Should a scholarship opportunity require an application, students that fit the criteria will be contacted for more information.

Patricia Hilliard Robertson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is to benefit full-time female students in the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics who have made a commitment to pursuing a career in the sciences. Candidates must have earned a minimum of 48 credits toward a degree in the following programs: Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Geoscience, and Physics with a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average. 

Albert R. Pechan Scholarship

Awarded to an outstanding science major enrolled full time; recipient will be selected by the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. 

Wienken Wealth Management Scholarship

Awarded to a student enrolled in the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics who has successfully completed at least 30 credit hours and achieved a minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average. 

Dean’s Opportunity Scholarship

The Dean’s scholarships will be awarded to an outstanding science major enrolled full-time in the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics with a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher. Financial need as well as academic performance will be factored into the selection process.

Siemens Fund for Undergraduate Research in STEM

Awards are given to support undergraduate research and presentation of such research projects, results, or finding at academic or professional symposia or conferences. Funds may be used to support expense of research supplies, fees, or other research-related expenses, presentation materials, travel expenses, or other expenses related to making presentations.
