The IUP Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Rebekah K. O'Brien, offers an evening of music at Calvary Presbyterian Church on Friday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature works by Verdi, Elgar, Franck, and Saint-Saens, with the world premiere of Refuge(e) for Organ and Orchestra by Roger Zare and performed by IUP organist Christine Clewell. The performance is free and open to the public.

On Thursday, March 2, the IUP Symphonic Orchestra will offer an open dress rehearsal with time for the audience to ask questions and hear from composer Zare and soloist Clewell about the process of writing and preparing Refuge(e).
