2016 Department of Music graduate, Petty Officer 2nd Class Brenden Goff, was recently recognized by the United States Navy with the Blue Jacket of the Year award. Goff is a flutist in the US Fleet Forces Band in Norfolk, Virginia.
The Blue Jacket Award recognizes outstanding junior sailors who go above and beyond the expectations of their duties. The IUP Department of Music is proud of Goff's accomplishments as a serviceman and musician in the US Navy bands.
