Attention faculty, staff, and students: Did you play in your high school band? Are you looking for a place to reconnect with your love of music? Look no further! Please consider joining the IUP University Band this fall. This ensemble is a joint effort between the IUP Department of Music and the IUP Community Music School, with the purpose of providing a fun opportunity to play music with fellow music lovers. The best part? No audition required!
If you are a community member, register for the University Band through the Community Music School. If you are an IUP student, please register for MUSC 281 for one credit. Students already taking 18 credits may register for this class for zero credits by contacting the instructor, Jason Worzbyt.

In addition to University Band, all ensembles in the Department of Music are open to every student on campus. Like University Band, University Chorus (MUSC 132) does not require an audition.
