The IUP Trumpet Ensemble will present its annual spring recital on Tuesday, April 20, in Gorell Recital Hall in Sutton Hall on the IUP campus. The program will begin at 8:00 p.m. and is free and open to members of the IUP campus, following COVID-19 restrictions. The recital will also be live-streamed on the IUP Music Department YouTube channel. Kevin Eisensmith directs the IUP Trumpet Ensemble.
The program will feature numerous pieces for the eight-member ensemble, including "Neon Fanfare" by Elaine Ross and "Celestial" by Eric Fregoso. The recital will conclude with a performance of Paul Basler's "the Ascension."
