IUP Department of Music faculty member Raquel Winnica Young will perform a concert as a member of Alabaster Trio this Sunday, November 1, at 2:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the historic Mishler Theatre in Altoona, Pa. It will also be live-streamed, and may be accessed by visiting the Altoona Symphony Musician Spotlight Concert Series page.

Raquel Winnica YoungAlabaster Trio is a Pittsburgh-based trio composed of Raquel Winnica Young (mezzosoprano), Lenny Young (oboe), and Jack Kurutz (piano). The trio is a recent winner of the Pittsburgh Concert Society.

Alabaster Trio is presenting a program called Revelations, featuring music from four centuries. The inspiration for this program is Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Steven Stucky's Two Holy Sonnets of John Donne.
