Music Ensembles

  • The IUP Department of Music has a wide variety of performance ensembles for musicians on every instrument and voice type. All ensembles are available to any student currently registered for classes on IUP’s main campus. Any IUP student who has reached 15 credits of classes may participate in additional ensembles for zero credit, so you can be part of the IUP music scene without having to pay additional tuition.

  • Auditioning for IUP Ensembles

Auditions for most ensembles, except marching band, are held during the first week of classes in the fall and spring semesters. University Chorus, Men’s Chorus, and Women’s Chorus do not require an audition. Membership into all other ensembles is by audition.
