  • The Department of Mathematics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a full time, tenure-track position in Developmental Mathematics beginning in August 2015. The position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor.

    This position provides leadership for improving the teaching and learning of developmental mathematics.  The typical faculty workload is 12 credit hours per semester and this position also coordinates the department's developmental mathematics offerings. Additional duties include advising students; serving on faculty committees; participating in academic and professional activities of the department, university, and discipline; and continuing scholarly activity.  The Mathematics Department places a high priority upon teaching excellence and expects faculty to be professionally active. The successful candidate may be assigned to work at off-campus sites and/or provide instruction through distance education.
