2018–19 DoD Information Assurance Scholarship Program

  • In the academic year 2018–19, IUP has been awarded a significant grant from the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Scholarship Program, currently named the Cyber Scholarship Program (CySP), to provide full-ride scholarship to the following three students.

    1. Rebecca George
    2. James Lutz
    3. Daniel Richmond

    For information about the previous application cycle (2018–19), please check below. 

    The DoD is seeking rising junior and senior (third- and fourth-year) undergraduate and graduate/doctoral students who are interested in full-ride scholarships for concentrated studies in cybersecurity.

    Students selected for the program will receive full scholarships. This requires the student to agree to serve one year of service to the DoD, upon graduation, for each year of scholarship received, in addition to the internship identified below.

    Basic Requirements

    • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.2
    • Entering junior or senior year
    • U.S. citizen
    • Agree to work for DoD as a civilian for one year for each year of scholarship received
