The mission of Project FORECAST is to develop training partnerships with universities and their community-based workforce partners that will increase the competence of professionals entering child-serving sectors. As part of Project FORECAST, this interactive workshop introduces participants to a Problem-Based Learning Simulation (PBL-S) where they will acquire, practice, and apply the critical thinking skills that are necessary to effectively intervene with “real world” situations involving children and families exposed to traumatic stress.
Target Audience: Clinical personnel, counselors, psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, criminal justice professionals, health care professionals.
Introductory level. CE credits offered = 1.5 contact hours.
