This workshop will identify the current trends on both the Federal and State level in the expansion of internet gambling and its impact on youth internet gambling. Recent studies, including data from Pennsylvania, will demonstrate that youth are gambling on the internet. We will examine the role of families, schools and the community in identifying behaviors associated with youth gambling. The focus will be on middle school through college level students. Additionally, we will explain the Internet Addiction Self-Assessment questionnaire which will be provided to all participants.
