Child abuse cases are complex and require the involvement of many legal, judicial, medical and social systems. A collaborative model was developed that engages all investigative, treatment and victim support services in a multidisciplinary approach. Children's Advocacy Centers emphasize development as community-based and child-centered programs and encourage engagement by all team partners.
