This workshop will explore the role of diversity in the classroom. The primary goal is to raise consciousness about the intersection of different dimensions of diversity in today's classroom. As a follow-up to the plenary sessions, the facilitators will generate a discussion about what the REAL strengths and challenges are through the eyes of the participants. Best practices in working with diversity and the cultural contexts of children, clients, students, and families will emerge.
