This program will broadly address the purpose, development and leadership of early-alert crisis intervention teams within the university, public school and other institutional settings. A primary focus will be placed on the at-risk helping processes of discovery, verification, assessment and intervention. Finally, this program will address ways to successfully engage peers, instructors, administrators and other staff members in the helping process following their observation of behaviors of persons potentially in distress.
