Presented by Timothy J. Silvestri, Ph.D.

The National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) has established evidence-based, best practices to reduce high-risk alcohol consumption. This workshop will outline the underlying factors that contribute to high-risk alcohol use among young adults such as social (mis)perceptions, advertising, and a lack of awareness of the physiology of drinking. The workshop will offer specifics on how to remain consistent with best practices in a comprehensive, sustainable, and cost-effective manner.
