Presented by Robert J. Ackerman, Ph.D.

This workshop is designed to help educators, counselors and others to assist parents with raising their confidence in order to deal more successfully with their parenting roles and the many problems confronting parents.

For example, how many parents struggle with these questions? Do you know where you stand as a parent? Have you ever wondered why you can be good at your job, professional in your interactions with other adults, composed in crises that are outside of your family, but constantly feel tested and frustrated dealing with your children? Do you want the best for your children, but you are not sure what the best way to teach your children is? These problems are common to all parents, but we can get through them with less pain and more positive outcomes for ourselves and for our children if we can raise and maintain our confidence in our roles as parents.
