Sex abuse causes the victim to embrace a trauma identity. This workshop defines identity, explores trauma identity and links the implications of living out of a trauma identity to the development of addictions. Strategies for assessing trauma identity and treatment strategies for restoring the addicted trauma survivor are shared.
