This presentation examines the literature and research surrounding gender differences associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in a military population. Specifically, it will focus on enlistment demographics, childhood trauma, stigma, treatment, outcomes, and co-morbid diagnoses. It will also include a discussion about gender-related ethical dilemmas in PTSD treatment for a military population.
