Coping with Family Trauma: A Therapeutic Process Group Treatment for College Students

College students often seek services for trauma inflicted by families, including physical and emotional abuse, neglect, and parental substance abuse and/or mental illness. This presentation will provide participants detailed information about the Coping With Family Trauma Group, a semi-structured therapy group used at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center as an effective, short-term treatment for family trauma.
