Jason Hursh ’05 has joined Larson Design Group (LDG) as an engineer in its Lititz office.
Hursh has about 10 years of industry experience and is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Before joining LDG, he was a design engineer working on PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and Highway Occupancy Permit projects. He most recently worked for McCormick Taylor in Harrisburg as a Marcellus shale consultant to PennDOT to evaluate roadway impacts and develop regulations and policies related to the Marcellus shale industry.
He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and holds a general science degree from IUP. Originally from the Ephrata/Lititz area, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, camping, playing sports, and being involved with his church.

In his new role, Hursh will bolster a growing transportation engineering department supporting the southern central Pennsylvania region.
