Don Giovanni was considered as the most personal opera for Mozart. Scenes from Don Giovanni were heavily featured in the infamous movie Amadeus (1984), which won eight Academy Awards.
The Stone Guest scene is one of the most spine-chilling scenes in the history of opera. However, the comic scenes and characters are also memorable.
In this co-production, faculty from the departments of Music and of Theatre, Dance, and Performance will join forces with the outstanding students to present one of the most powerful operas of all time. Directed by See-yin (Oliver) Lo. Conducted by Alexandra
Dee. This will be a fully staged performance with professional chamber orchestra.
