Henri Rousseau: Tales of the Tropics

Inspired by the colorful artwork of Henri Rousseau, the IUP Dance Theater translates “stage-sized” paintings into movement stories. Featuring live accompaniment of original compositions by David Martynuik.

The classic Cinderella story, but with a twist. The IUP Dance Theater and the IUP Percussion Ensemble present a modern-day telling of Cinderella set in the world of high fashion and featuring the sounds of classic rock.

Compania Flamenca Eduardo Guerrero Presents Flamenco Pasion

Tuesday, October 16, 8:00 p.m., Fisher Auditorium, IUP Performing Arts Center

Compania Flamenca Eduardo Guerrero presents a program especially produced for a North American audience, Flamenco Pasion, direct from Spain. Critically acclaimed flamenco dancer and choreographer Eduardo Guerrero uses his eclectic style to combine classical and contemporary Spanish dance with ballet to express the many styles of this expressive art form.
