Helping to set the mood of the season, the
University Museum will host an exhibit of various model trains displayed and
organized by the Indiana Model Train Collectors.
The
Indiana Area Model Train Collectors and members of the Plumcreek
Country Stitchers Quilt Guild are coming together to present a working
model train display
and a holiday quilt exhibit at the IUP University Museum. Bring your
family and friends for a magical holiday experience!
This
creative exhibit will include a variety of vintage and contemporary
model train displays depicting the evolution of model railroading from
the early
1900s to the present day. Carefully created holiday quilts will brighten
the walls of the museum, along with holiday trees, decorations, and
toys.
The Museum will be open for extended hours for this exhibit.
