Combining the talents of the IUP Dance Theater and the IUP Percussion Ensemble, A New Genesis re-tells the tale of the idyllic sci-fi world of Logan's Run with the movement of dance and powerful music of Genesis and Phil Collins.
With the richly textured music of Phil Collins and Genesis setting the artistic tone, the tale is told of a futuristic, idyllic domed world where its young residents look forward to their reincarnation to yet another blissful life cycle. But, when one couple is forced to seek sanctuary, they find themselves surrounded by the darker truth of their existence and decide to initiate a revolution.
