Outreach: Mnozil Brass

Date: October 18, 2013
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Location: Gorell Recital Hall, 2nd Floor, Sutton Hall, IUP Main Campus

This unique group of seven brass musicians from Vienna will present a Q&A-style workshop that is open to students from local/regional high schools, teachers, and IUP students. Student brass players at IUP have the opportunity to submit questions via a GoogleDoc to Dr. Zach Collins, tuba/euphonium professor at IUP, and of course anyone present may also “pick the brains” of these wild, zany, and extremely talented and accomplished brass players as the group celebrates 20 years. The session will be moderated by IUP Music History professor Dr. Matt Baumer.
