For over a decade, Cordis has been redefining contemporary chamber music by fusing an original combination of custom-made and traditional ethnic instruments to create its signature sound.

The ensemble is built upon cello, keyboard, percussion, and the less-known but highly hypnotic concert cimbalom. One-of-a-kind musical creations often have a way of weaving their way into any given performance. Time Out New York said, “Cordis makes a strong case for both sides of its musical personality, expanding the boundaries of chamber music.”
