José Franch Ballester, clarinet

Tuesday, October 11, 2011

2:00-3:15 p.m.
Gorell Recital Hall, John Sutton Hall, IUP Campus

Will work with three IUP clarinet majors in a master-class format. The class takes place during the weekly area time set aside for the woodwinds, and will be attended by all IUP woodwind players of all instruments, with local high school students invited to attend and observe. Sr. Franch-Ballester will also talk briefly about his background and career path, and will facilitate a question and answer session at the end of the class.

All IUP and high school woodwind players will benefit from this class, primarily clarinet. Other players, such as saxophone, would also benefit.

This class in advance of the Ovations! concert being presented October 11, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. in Gorell Recital Hall.
