The IUP Jazz Band, directed by Dr. James
Flowers, and the IUP Jazz Ensemble, led by Dr. Kevin Eisensmith,
present their annual Spring concert. Featured will be drummer
for his touch, versatility and musical approach, jazz drummer
Steve Fidyk has earned national and international acclaim as an
artist, author and columnist.
has appeared on over 100 recordings, and
performed with Wayne Bergeron, John Clayton, Mark Taylor,
Wycliffe Gordon, Tim Hagans, Slide Hampton, Maureen McGovern,
New York Voices, Dick Oates, Arturo Sandoval, and Doc
for the IUP Jazz Festival performance are available by calling the Lively Arts’ ticket office at (724) 357-1313. Tickets for any
seats remaining will be sold at the door starting one hour prior to the
performance start time. Tickets are priced at $10 for regular admission, $8
for seniors (60 or older) and $6 for active I-Card holders, students, and
children. Group rates are available for parties of 15 or more.
