Theater: “Much Ado About Nothing”

Live Stream

The war is over, and a new life is beckoning. Returning soldiers are re-united with those who have been toiling at home. For Claudio, there’s Hero—and they can’t take their eyes off each other. Then there’s Benedick and Beatrice, who can’t resist trading barbs and insults. Their combative wit sparkles In Shakespeare’s archetypal romantic comedy, but the play also asks whether we can believe everything we see—particularly when malign forces are at work. Re-imagined as a 1940’s radio play, Theater-by-the-Grove’s production will be live-streamed to comply with COVID-19 mitigation measures.

Purchase your unique streaming code to view this live performance as a group ($20), one person ($10), or an IUP student ($7.50).

Trial by Jury is considered as the most famous courtroom comedy in the operatic world. During this stressful time, laughter and catchy tunes would prove to be the best remedy. We have chosen a show that only lasts for one hour with a small cast. LIMITED social distancing seating (for IUP students, faculty, or staff) will be arranged at the Fisher Auditorium.

The Saturday and Sunday shows will be live streamed on the IUP Department of Music's YouTube Channel.
