IUP Libraries have served as a depository for U.S. documents since 1962 and for Pennsylvania since 1972. As a depository, it houses and makes available publications issued by agencies/departments of the federal and state governments. Our current collection is housed on the first floor of Stapleton Library near the Reference Department. Federal documents are arranged by Superintendent of Documents (SUDOCS) Number. (SUDOCS information) Maps are housed in cabinets near the Reference Area. (Map listing) Older publications can be found elsewhere in the library integrated in other collections. For assistance with U.S. or Pennsylvania Government Information, contact us at 724-357-4892 or e-mail Theresa McDevitt at email@example.com.
