• As of May 2017, support for the iclick service (Turning Technologies Clickers) has ended.

These items will no longer be offered:

    • Device registration via MyIUP
    • Participant list creation via MyIUP
    • Dedicated Turningpoint receivers in each multimedia classroom
    • Support of existing Turningpoint software, receivers, clickers

Support for this service has ended for a number of reasons:

    • Vendor support for the Turningpoint 5 software has ended.
    • Turningpoint Cloud replaces Turningpoint 5. Turning Technologies has changed its clicker licensing requirements for the cloud version, which would increase costs for our students who own clickers through annual registration fees.
    • There has been a decline in overall usage since the service was first introduced at IUP in 2009.
    • Faculty have been seeking alternative web and mobile polling services.

This decision was approved by ACPAC (IUP's Academic Computing Policy Advisory Committee) in April 2016.
