Retired IUP employees can request to have a personal email address added to an IUP Retiree Directory Services. Any personal email address can be added to this directory service.
Set up your vacation reminder prior to your retirement date to let people know of your retirement and of your new email address. Note that email sent to your IUP email address will no longer be delivered to your IUP account after your retirement date. Email sent to your IUP address will bounce back to the sender with no forwarding email. So, you can use the vacation reminder to let people know your new personal email address.
There will be no assistance from IT Services for email migration. After your retirement date, email will no longer be delivered to your IUP account, and no vacation reminder emails will be sent.
The Directory Service
Submit your gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com, or any other personal email address to the IUP directory service for retired employees.
Currently, only IUP employees will have access to this directory. This will allow current employees to reach out to any retired employee. Retired employees will get a copy of the directory as a PDF emailed to them on a bi-annual basis.

Auxmail Transition
Beginning November 18, 2019, IUP will no longer provide Auxmail email accounts.
Also, IUP will no longer set up any type of forwarder from a retiree’s IUP email account to the Auxmail account or any other email service.
Legacy Auxmail
Existing Auxmail users will need to change over to another type of personal email account. More information will be forthcoming.
Our suggestion is to create an Outlook.com account. Features are similar between Auxmail and Outlook.com, as the Auxmail email platform is Microsoft Office 365. Users can log in to their account at login.microsoftonline.com.
