  • October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month. We encourage all IUP system administrators and support staff to help raise awareness. Below are some resources to help promote National Cyber Security Awareness Month.

    Join us for one of our presentations, "What YOU need to know about Cyber Security". 
    In order to register, simply log an ihelp ticket with the date and time you are coming: 

    • October 28, 2014 - 9:00 am - To be Held in G41 Delaney Hall
    • Information Assurance Day 2014
      The Institute for Information Assurance at IUP, in collaboration with the IT Support Center and the Computer Science Department, will host the seventh annual Information Assurance Day on Thursday, October 30, 2014, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Ohio Room at the HUB.

    Cyber Security Awareness Contest

    IUP students are encouraged to get involved in IUP's National Cyber Security Awareness efforts by participating in the Cyber Security Awareness Contest. Create a podcast, ad video, infographic, or other creative project to help educate the IUP community regarding the issues surrounding Cyber Security. More details can be found in the project guidelines. The winner will receive $100 in Visa gift cards, donated by ePlus of Pittsburgh.

    IUP Security Posters:

    These custom, high-resolution IUP security posters are in PDF format and are designed to be printed on 11"x17" paper. You can still scale and print them on 8.5"x11" office paper, although there will be larger left and right side margins.
