Using NVivo Software for Qualitative Research

  • Need a program to handle rich information, where in-depth analysis of both small and large volumes of data is required? NVivo is your solution.

Nvivo is a qualitative data analysis software package designed for researchers working with very rich text-based and/or multimedia information, where deep levels of analysis on small or large volumes of data are required. NVivo removes many of the manual tasks associated with analysis, like classifying, sorting, and arranging information, so you have more time to explore trends, test theories, and arrive at answers to questions.

The NVivo software is available for all IUP employees and students who are doing qualitative research. This presentation will demonstrate some of the many ways NVivo can be used for qualitative data analysis.
