Educational and Professional Development for OPEIU

  • Pursuant to Article 40, Sections 4-6 of the OPEIU collective bargaining unit, OPEIU employees are able to participate in out-service training and professional education credits. 

    This benefit is intended to enhance, not replace, the existing tuition waiver benefit program currently in place for OPEIU employees and their dependents.  

    The form should be signed by the employee’s immediate supervisor, director and divisional vice president and sent to the Office of Human Resources, G8 Sutton Hall, for processing BEFORE the start date of the training.

    Reimbursement will be contingent upon successful completion of the course and attainment of a grade of “C” or better.
